As the previous ‘Digital Products’ examples, this Niche did well in testing, suggesting it would be profitable when we went to create our own product for sale. We used an ‘Affiliate product’ test method.

After implementing the marketing practices and tools, as you read in the ‘New Age’ & Craft’ Niche Business examples, we were unable to take it beyond break even, after testing & refining for 6 months.

This niche was tested pre Social Media days. It was shelved as a business because even with a team of experienced experts, it was not proving to be a profitable niche business. This is a reality that businesses can face, which is why we encourage clients to always test cleverly, consciously and modestly vs invest all upfront. It is always about being market responsive vs product driven.
